Single Mom with Lupus

Dear WRRAP:

I am a 34-year-old single mom on disability with Lupus. Last month I was admitted to the hospital for 10 days where I was exposed to numerous x-rays and MRI’s, not to mention some very strong medications. According to a urine test that I was given, I wasn’t pregnant, but I later I found out that I was. In addition to the Lupus flare up, I have been extremely sick. My doctors advised that it would be very risky to continue my pregnancy.

Not sure what I would have done without the help of a group like WRRAP. I am so thankful.
